Director's Update:

Progress Report from Leonard
“The construction of the perimeter fence has progressed pretty well, despite the harsh weather (very hot). The staff is stable and settled. We have covered most of what is expected of us in terms of learning syllabus for the first term. We have improved on our diet to include mandazi breakfast over weekends and an extra day for fish up from once a week and that has excited the kids very much. This improvement follows a period of steady health when we have not had any of our kids fall ill. Our kids participated for the first time in inter schools sports challenge and made a good account of themselves. We certainly are making our presence felt in the bigger community of education institutions. Thank you to our friends in America who make this all possible.”

Thank You!

More than 30 children have a loving home and 130 village kids have a safe place to learn, eat nourishing meals and have fun with recess, games and sports. All of these children have a chance to flourish and, who knows, change the world!

Thank you for your caring support.
Star of Hope USA: Vicki, Dana, Selah, Marsha and Bill.
Star of Hope Kenya: Leonard, Gladwell, the staff and especially the kids.
